About New Bedford

We were contracted by the USACE to replace the roofing system on a critical piece of public infrastructure: the New Bedford Hurricane Protection Barrier. This barrier is essential for protecting New Bedford, Fairhaven, and Acushnet—including the nation's most valuable fishing port—from catastrophic tidal flooding and storm surges.

Our team successfully removed the old system and installed a new, high-performance PVC roof, ensuring the barrier's operational buildings remain secure and watertight for years to come.
